Cintas marks Global Handwashing Day by adding Germ-X to its sanitiser dispenser line
In honour of Global Handwashing Day, on 15th October, Cintas Corporation is reminding those on the go and without immediate access to soap and water, that hand sanitiser is a viable option, by partnering with Germ-X to make the well-known consumer brand sanitiser available in all Cintas rental sanitiser dispensers.
"Even though handwashing is the most effective way to remove germs on hands, it's not always practical," says Christiny Betsch, marketing manager, Cintas. "Installing Cintas's Germ-X filled dispensers in common areas creates a powerful combination to help facility managers maintain a healthy, productive place of business."
According to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, if soap and water are not available, handwashers are to use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser that contains at least 60% alcohol. Studies show that hand sanitisers with at least 60% alcohol are more effective at killing germs than those with a lower alcohol concentration.
Germ-X Advanced hand sanitiser kills more than 99.9% of many common harmful germs and bacteria in as little as 15 seconds. Available through Cintas's rental service program in both foam and gel formulations, Germ-x's patented formulations contain 70% alcohol and are CHG, latex, vinyl and nitrile glove-compatible. The sanitiser also contains moisturisers to reduce dryness and leave hands soft.
Available in multiple dispensers and colours, the Cintas rental sanitiser service will monitor, refill and maintain sanitiser dispensers to meet a facility's changing needs.
