Glasgow Science Centre chooses Veltia Quiet Mark accredited V fusion hand dryer
Veltia's V Fusion Quiet Mark-accredited warm air hand dryers are gracing the washrooms at Glasgow Science Centre, where they are helping visitors dry their hands quickly without subjecting them to excessive - and potentially damaging - noise levels.
Attracting over 420,00 participants each year, Glasgow Science Centre, located on the south bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow, is a great family attraction that presents science and technology in unique and inspiring ways. It has lots of activities to keep visitors of all ages entertained for hours. There are two acres of interactive exhibits, workshops, science shows, activities, a planetarium, Glasgow Tower and an IMAX cinema.
In addition, the attraction hosts high profile corporate events and operates Whitelee Wind Farm.
The Science Centre decided to work within its current supply chain recently to procure a hand dryer with low running costs and one that was robust enough to operate in high footfall areas and remain eco-efficient.
Veltia's V Fusion was the obvious choice due to its patented acoustic dampening system (ADS), giving the user comfortable, effective hand drying coupled with an acceptable noise level.
As a visitor attraction, the centre is committed to accessibility and with its new autism friendly hours, it was a priority to keep the noise levels within the washrooms to a minimum - thus allowing visitors to feel more comfortable and at ease using the hand dryers.
