An Exclusive solution
National contract cleaning service provider Exclusive Services Group has appointed Dave Emmerson to the role of solutions director, to support the Hatfield-based contractor's growing use of emerging cleaning technologies and help manage its ambitious sustainability targets.
Formerly divisional managing director (media & leisure) for the group's Exclusive Contract Services subsidiary, Dave has an extensive background in retail including senior roles in soft services management for retail chains, The Co-operative Group and Sainsbury's.
His new role takes in delivering better operational efficiencies, leading the group's Continuous Improvement Committee while researching and sourcing from the growing number of robotics solutions coming onto market.
Says Group CEO, Jim Melvin:
"Our aim is to drive value through better ways of working, whether via simpler ways of cleaning or using new innovations to enhance performance and productivity, in turn delivering benefit to our customers.
"Dave has the operational experience and brings tremendous expertise of both supplier and client need and we're very excited at the prospect of bundling even more innovatory working practice to our service offer."
Exclusive Services Group is a privately-owned company providing cleaning and facilities management services focussed on current and future innovations. The Group controls two distinct service providers in Exclusive Contract Services and Brayborne Facilities Services.
Hatfield-based Exclusive Contract Services is a specialist in cleaning leisure, retail, media and leisure, logistics, education, pharmaceutical and commercial spaces. In January 2016, the Group acquired Brayborne Facilities Services, an organisation founded in 1995 and offering a wide range of bespoke professional cleaning and facility support services to retail, education, commercial and public sector clients. Brayborne also offers an in-house specialist division with specialisms including external, data centre and kitchen/wet area cleaning.
Together the two providers have expanded the scope of services offered by the Group, sharing a dedicated BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science) learning and development centre in Swindon delivering industry-recognised qualification courses to all company staff and management.
