Tidy Green Clean Specialist Services has outstanding first quarter despite challenges of Covid-19
Jake Robertson, who joined Tidy Green Clean as its first regional director (Specialist Services) is reporting an outstanding first quarter.
The business is thriving, despite the challenges of Covid-19 with expansion on every front. Tidy Green Clean is headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, and continues to grow its reach, with seven regional director franchisee operations across the North East of Scotland, the Forth Valley and Newcastle upon Tyne to date.
Jake Robertson's TGC Specialist Services provides a range of more specialist cleaning services for TGC customers all over Scotland and the North East of England. These services include regulatory cleaning for commercial extractor fans and deep cleaning, also known as TR19 cleaning, and build on the business he started more than a year ago, following several years serving in both the police and five years in the Royal Marines.
Since coming under the Tidy Green Clean banner in August, Jake has been able to employ two part-time workers and one business development manager, and he is currently looking for another team member to come onboard full time.
The TGC Specialist Services offering has also expanded to become an enormous one-stop shop for TGC and all clients across the franchise network, with the aim of becoming the dominant provider in the sector. These new services now also include Zoono and Bio-fogging, to cater for the need to fight against infections caused by bacteria and viruses, to help employers create safe working environments, both physically and mentally for employees and customers.
Finally, Jake has also become one of the owners of Bin Cleaned, which has also come under the Tidy Green Clean umbrella, which he co-owns with Andrew Alleway and David Moncur of Tidy Green Clean.
"2020 has been an incredibly challenging year but I have been able to take those challenges and turn them into success because of the backing of Tidy Green Clean," says Jake. "I am looking forward to all that 2021 brings with hope and anticipation for more of the same and I am excited that I will be able to recruit a team, who like me, love to be part of something that's successful and puts people at its heart.
"I am a committed entrepreneur and the opportunities that I have found with the likeminded team that is Tidy Green Clean have given me the ability to take the small business that I had, forward to the strong and thriving business it is today. I am also launching another business that will equally echo my commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and I am excited to see further growth ahead for both TGC Specialist Services and Bin Cleaned."
