Experienced and international sustainability profile to join ISS

* to-join-ISS.jpgTracy Nilsson will join ISS as Global Head of Sustainability on 1st January 2022.

With the hire of someone with an experienced international profile who has spent most of her career working with sustainability, ISS is substantially strengthening its contribution to both its clients and society in general.

Tracy joins ISS from Adidas where she has held a position as senior director, global environment. Previously she held leading sustainability roles with Lululemon, ThinkStep and IKEA. Tracy is also a steering committee member at the United Nations Fashion Industry Charter for Climate.

"Tracy has a solid track record of improving the sustainability agenda substantially in the organisations she has worked for. I am confident she will also play a vital and positive role at ISS, as we strengthen our sustainability profile and offerings further in the years to come.

We are fully committed to carrying out our operations and delivering our services in a sustainable way," says group COO at ISS, Troels Bjerg. "It's our societal responsibility, our license to operate and ultimately the key driver for success and future growth."

Tracy Nilsson says she 'can't wait to get started', adding:

"This gives me a huge amount of energy and passion for the work ahead and I look forward to making things happen, together. I'm honoured and humbled to play my part in leading ISS's change journey to a more sustainable future."

In her past career, Tracy has developed and executed global sustainability strategies, visions and plans for global brands that successfully connect business strategies and performance demands with sustainability concepts to improve and drive positive impact on business and society.

Tracy has lived and worked in Asia, Europe and North America. Currently she is based in Hong Kong, but she will now relocate to Copenhagen with her family.
