ACI and Trades unveil new factsheet on role of enzymes in detergent products
The American Cleaning Institute - in collaboration with International Association for Soaps, Detergents & Maintenance Products, Association of Manufacturers & Formulators of Enzyme Products, and the Household & Commercial Products Association - developed a factsheet on the role of enzymes in detergent products.
"The aim of this factsheet is to explain the role of these important ingredients, their environmental benefits and specific applications in a straightforward way, suitable for all audiences, both technical and non-technical," explains Dr Francis Kruszewski, ACI senior director, human health & safety.
"Enzymes are a great technology used in detergents, which have a positive impact on sustainability, reducing energy consumption when cleaning and tackling specific stains."
