Ineos Hygienics appoints Zyrofisher to introduce new sport brand into UK & Ireland

* Sport2.jpgIneos Hygienics has announced a new partnership with ZyroFisher to distribute its new Ineos Sport professional hand and equipment sanitiser spray range into the UK & Ireland.

The new range has been co-developed with elite sports teams to help prevent the spread of infection amongst athletes, while keeping performance front of mind and reducing lost training days. Thought to be the first of its kind range - designed by sports people, for sport – it offers a specialist fast drying, non-slip formula that leaves hands and equipment protected and ready for action.

The range consists of a 50ml hand sanitiser spray and equipment sanitiser spray available in 100ml and 400ml sizes, made with 70-75% pharmaceutical grade alcohol which kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.

"Growing the brand and category globally is a key initiative for our team, and our partnership with ZyroFisher allows us to further raise awareness of the importance of hygiene within sport and everyday activities,” says George Ratcliffe, chief operating officer of Ineos Hygienics.

"As we expand into new markets, it's vital to have partners that understand what it takes to deliver in multiple retail categories. We couldn't be more confident in the team at ZyroFisher."

Jon Sherwood, Director of Brands at ZyroFisher, comments: “We are really excited to be partnering with Ineos Hygienics in the UK & Ireland.

"The ergonomically designed aerosols are a real game changer and lend themselves perfectly to the sporting goods market where staff are handling products all day long. Ineos has done a fantastic job in developing a range of hygiene products designed specifically to work in this environment."

As a volume producer of high-purity synthetic ethanol, Ineos was in a position to respond to the global shortage of hand sanitiser when the pandemic struck in March 2020. Manoeuvring quickly to establish six new factories across the UK, US and Europe in just 10 days, the company has distributed millions of bottles of hospital grade hand sanitiser to thousands of NHS, medical institutions and frontline healthcare workers around the world, for free.
The company is the official supplier of hand sanitation products to international sporting teams including Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Ineos Grenadiers and Ineos Team UK, helping to ensure that teams can continue to compete safely and with confidence.
