The Committee provides detailed policy and technical advice, information, and recommendations to the Secretary of Commerce and the US Trade Representative (USTR) regarding trade barriers, negotiation of trade agreements and implementation of existing trade agreements affecting its sectors; and performs such other advisory functions relevant to US trade policy as may be requested by the Secretary of Commerce and the USTR or their designees.

"I am honoured to be appointed to this Committee and to provide key perspective on behalf of an essential and innovative industry," says Kathleen.

In her role at ACI, Kathleen manages international and environmental health & safety related issues and activities of concern to ACI members and stakeholders. With the aid of industry experts, she prepares ACI positions, policies, briefings and technical evaluations addressing legislation and regulation with regard to international and environmental health & safety issues. She directs the development of tools and information for assessing the occurrence and impacts of cleaning product ingredients in the environment. In addition, she manages the expansion of ACI's collaboration with organisations internationally.
