Prime Facility Services wins 5-year cleaning contract with Wrekin Housing Group
Cleaning specialist Prime Facility Services has been awarded a five-year contract with Wrekin Housing Group. The contract covers a range of sites for Wrekin, which provides affordable homes for more than 28,000 people across Shropshire, Telford, and Wrekin and Staffordshire.
"We were delighted to welcome Prime Facility Services as our new cleaning contractor,” says Anita Francis, area manager with The Wrekin Housing Group. “Its submission met all our requirements and we have been very impressed with all the work so far. The quality of the cleans is very high, the people work safely and it's fantastic to work with a local company that shares our values."
Prime has TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings [Protection of Employment] regulations) transferred 30-plus staff from the previous contractor, along with a dedicated contract manager.
Prime is also tasked with helping clean properties in readiness for new tenants to move in.
Jacob Perry, regional catering manager at the Wrekin Housing Group says: "Prime conducted its first deep clean for us recently. The standard of the clean was excellent and I was impressed with the machinery and cleaning products being used."
Managing director at Prime Facility Services Corina Dennis (pictured signing the contract with Janet Lycett, director of business solutions at Wrekin Housing), comments:
"Prime shares many social values with Wrekin, so we were delighted to win this contract after a robust selection process. Our operational improvements have already produced positive results both for Wrekin customers and for the staff we have transferred over."
