Autonomous cleaning helps cleaning teams
Autonomous cleaning has become even more important throughout the years, with significant developments in technology within the cleaning industry. More businesses are embracing the technology to help them combat specific issues. With cleaning standards changing and issues around shortages in cleaning operatives still the same, many businesses are now opting for alternatives like autonomous cleaning to help their cleaning team.
Lionsbot recently launched its new products, R3 Vac and Magic Tag. The newest product to the Lionsbot family, R3 Vac, is the professional-grade vacuum robotic solution designed for various spaces, from offices to retail stores, to community spaces and other high-traffic areas. It is also super quiet, operating at office-friendly noise levels (60 db's)—cleaning without disrupting the environment.
Equipped with side brushes that deliver 0 cm edge cleaning, combined with both microfibre and brush rollers to cater for different surfaces. R3 can clean hard concrete, carpet, vinyl and more.
Coming in at only 65.5cm tall, the R3 Vac is exceptionally compact and easily passes under obstacles like tables. With four depth cameras, six sonars and 25m LiDAR, R3 Vac can see obstacles and create a new path if there is no throughway. R3 Vac is also intelligent enough to avoid glass surfaces and mirrors.
R3 Vac is simple to maintain and operate—with tool-free maintenance. It features a magnetic design making it easy to dismantle, giving the cleaning operative full accessibility to key areas for maintenance.
Effortless vacuuming can be expected for up to three hours on a single charge, covering up to 2,400sq. m. R3 Vac can automatically run on a schedule, returning to its charging station when the battery is low and resuming cleaning when fully charged. Along with all these benefits, R3 Vac comes with a medical-grade filter as standard, purifying the air as it goes. And, for every robot in your fleet, a mangrove tree is planted, supporting the company's environmental commitment.
Data is a key aspect of any cleaning team, and data collected through the Lionscloud App allows you to see your fleet with real-time tracking, your cleaning operative’s usage and activity, edit maps easily and get daily or monthly reports on R3’s cleaning performance and efficiency.
The data allows us to provide real-world savings; with one of our customers, a national sports centre, nearly 49 houses could be powered for a day by the energy savings from using the R3 Vac. Additionally, 21 hours of a cleaning operatives time was saved using the R3 Vac for a month.
With the help of the Magic Tag, zero-touch cleaning is complete. It simplifies the process of always having to localise the robot and instead will recognise a fixed spot where it will start and finish - such a simple process to use and learn.
