Interclean China 2023: “Impressive”
Visitors and exhibitors alike were unanimous in their praise for Interclean's impressive China show held last week at the Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Following the successful launch of Interclean China in 2021, this year's show attracted around 5,500 visitors and with almost 100 exhibitors there was lots do see and do.
"We are thrilled with the turn-out at Interclean China 2023," says director at Interclean Global Events Robert Stelling. “Although it was a smaller show compared to the previous edition and to our other event, Interclean Amsterdam, the cautious economic climate didn't dampen the enthusiasm and excitement of those attending.
“One must remember that post Covid, the market is looking very different. However, this also stimulates many exciting opportunities for the cleaning and hygiene industry. Overall, there was an amazing vibe of optimism.
"People gathered at Interclean China from all over the world, eager to explore the latest products, services and facilities which are revolutionising the future of cleaning and hygiene. High on the agenda for those attending were the many exciting new developments in smart technology, as well as establishing relationships with industry role players.
“It's great to be doing business again in China and everyone is very happy to be back in this vibrant country after so long.
“A show like Interclean China is also the perfect event to network with industry experts, suppliers, manufacturers and exporters. I'm sure that this unique experience will lead to some very exciting collaborations and partnerships in the future."
The atmosphere at the show was buzzing, with visitors from a very wide range of countries such as Brazil, Benin, South Africa, UAE, Thailand, Italy and Kazakhstan. Visitors mentioned how excited they were to discover so many suppliers. Some were on the lookout for specific products and equipment to enhance their offering as cleaning companies or facilities managers, while many others wanted to establish relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to grow their business and develop new markets.
Interclean China 2023 offered a number of interesting knowledge sessions presented by industry experts and professionals with content that was relevant, topical and informative.
They discussed the future of cleaning, new technology and best practices, emphasising the importance of high-quality cleaning for different industries. A jam-packed programme featured some of the industry's leading cleaning & hygiene authorities and specialists in a series of ‘Meet the Experts’ sessions, and highlights such as the Healthcare Cleaning Forum, International Cleaning Industry Exchange Meeting and excursions to different end-users in Chongqing were especially popular.
On the last show day, October 20, Clean Hospitals Day was celebrated with the Asia launch of the Healthcare Environmental Hygiene Self-Assessment Framework of Clean Hospitals.
Internationalisation is a consistent feature of the Interclean brand, as showcased by its events in Amsterdam and China. Interclean plays a vital role in uniting audiences, exhibitors and experts from the global cleaning field.
Judging by the feedback of visitors from around the world to the booths and seminar sessions, Interclean China has succeeded in providing exhibitors with excellent opportunities to interact and cooperate with the international market. This in turn helps Chinese enterprises to showcase their products and facilitate their entry into international markets, as well as grow their ever-evolving domestic market.
Visitors to Interclean China 2023 were very keen to attend Interclean Amsterdam 2024 from 14th - 17th May 2024, and Interclean China from 11th – 13th Dec 2024 in Shanghai.
