The mermaid is only part of the attraction...
Legend has it that mermaids would entice unwary sailors onto the rocks and when you see the one gracing Vermop's stand it's easy to understand why!
Not that Gareth Jenkins had succumbed to her charms though... he kept very busy talking us through the many clever concepts on the stand, all of which succeeded in making it busy throughout the four day show.
In this picture he's holding the Mag floor cleaning system which was launched at the show. 'Mag' stands for magnetic, which gives a clue as to how everything works. The system cleverly utilises the forces of nature to provide a fast and simple way of attaching the mop head to the holder or handle...
Magnets in the holder and metal plates in the mop provide an almost automatic connection. This reduces the time spent training staff to use new equipment and on site set-up times too.
"The Mag system eliminates the need for the traditional mop holder," explained Gareth. "Instead the new Mag Mop is provided with a novel, flexible interior component, giving it maximum stability during wiping. The Mag mounting will accept the new Mag Twixter double mop, the Mag Sprint flat mop, the Mag Aquva wet wipe mop and the Mag Scandic dry mop.
"Equipped with just a handle and a holder, any kind of cleaning task can be carried out with maximum flexibility, and to meet any on-site requirements."
