OCS announces the acquisition of Exclusive Services Group

* OCS-Exclusive.jpgGlobal facilities management services provider OCS has announced its acquisition of Exclusive Services Group, the award-winning provider of contract cleaning services operating across the UK and Ireland.

This transaction marks OCS' fourth strategic bolt-on acquisition in the last 12 months and further enhances the Group's cleaning services footprint in key sectors such as education, data centres, leisure, media and retail.

Since it was founded in 1960, Exclusive has established a strong and longstanding reputation for delivering high-quality, customer-centric cleaning services. The integration of Exclusive will support the current and future growth plans of OCS' cleaning division, helping the wider business double its revenue over next five years.

In particular, Exclusive has a proven track record in adapting to the evolving needs of the education sector, complementing OCS' existing cleaning service offering, having already acquired Accuro in 2023. Furthermore, Exclusive is a data centre cleaning specialist, a key growth area for OCS, and has strong experience in the leisure sector.

OCS and Exclusive are aligned on their business objectives, culture and values, which will result in a seamless integration of the two businesses. Both companies are committed to delivering the highest standards of service, and this shared focus on operational excellence will benefit customers across a range of sectors. Furthermore, Exclusive's customers will gain access to OCS' comprehensive suite of facilities management services, driving operational efficiencies and enhancing service delivery.

"Exclusive has earned a strong reputation in the market for the exceptional service it provides to its customers," notes Daniel Dickson, UK & Ireland CEO of OCS. "The addition of Exclusive's expertise in the education sector and data centres, along with its strong management team, will further strengthen our ability to deliver the best outcomes for customers.

"This acquisition is a significant step forward for OCS, as we strive to double our revenue in the UK and Ireland over the next five years. We are delighted to welcome Exclusive and our future colleagues and look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring."

Jim Melvin, CEO of Exclusive Services Group, adds: "Exclusive has always prided itself on its ability to deliver high-quality services tailored to the specific needs of our customers. By becoming part of OCS, we can leverage the Group's extensive resources and expertise to enhance the suite of services we offer our customers, and drive growth. This transaction represents an exciting next step for Exclusive and we are confident that it will deliver significant benefits to both our customers and employees alike."

The acquisition of Exclusive Services Group, alongside those of Accuro, Abate Pest Management and Profile Security Services, are crucial steps in achieving OCS' goal of becoming the market leading facilities service provider. This, paired with strong levels of organic growth, including significant new business wins such as the Alstom, Irish Rail and Royal Parks, will enable the business to fulfil its target of doubling revenue in the UK and Ireland over the next five years.

Founded in 1900, OCS boasts a turnover of £2.5 billion. Operating throughout the UK (HQ) and across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, OCS has an FM presence in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and UAE. The company operates under the PCS brand in Thailand, maintaining the same values and ethos as its parent brand.

With a dedicated team of over 130,000 colleagues, augmented by leading-edge technology and innovation, OCS self-delivers a wide range of facilities services, including cleaning, catering, hard services, security and facilities management. This approach enables the company to directly implement its (best) strategy of delivering the best experiences, productivity, practices, and resilience, ultimately achieving the best outcomes for colleagues, customers, and communities.
