Recycling Expo 2024: all you need to know
Recycling Expo 2024, being staged at the ExCeL London next week on 15th and 16th October, is offering two days of innovation, education and unmissable industry insights.
Playing host to dozens of guest speakers across three seminar theatres, along with live product demonstrations and launches, a networking lounge in association with The Recycling Association, the Recycling Expo Technology Zone and much more, there is no shortage of opportunities to immerse yourself in the show.
Technology has fast become the future of most industries, and the world of recycling is no different. The designated technology zone is your one-stop-shop to discover the systems, products and services that are digitising the path towards a more sustainable future.
From machinery to computer systems, there will be a huge array of exhibitors on hand to provide in-person demonstrations of their products.
The carefully constructed CPD-accredited seminar programme is designed specifically to educate and inform visitors on all things recycling and sustainable waste management. From current and future technology trends to legislation and safety, there's no better place keep up to date with where the industry is heading and what businesses can expect as they head into 2025. Subjects include:
- Simpler recycling
- Meeting PCR targets through mechanical recycling
- The challenges for the next Government
- Pressure sensitive labels shown to enable recycling of HDPE packaging
- How do we regulate the circular economy?
- Carbon literacy & recycling - a route to better climate performance
- Cities of the future

The Recycling Association will be hosting an exclusive networking lounge, which is expected to attract a huge number of high quality visitors as a hub for meeting, networking and forging new business relationships.
"More than just an event; it's a marketplace dedicated to connecting industry providers with buyers and creating business relationships centred around responsible resource management, an increase in the reuse of materials, a reduction of consumption based Co2 production, and a shift away from wasteful linear economy models," say the Show's organisers. "Our mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire, educate and connect businesses in their journey towards a less wasteful economy and a more eco-conscious future."
