Wetrok’s new Portavac BeFree cordless backvac opens up new cleaning areas

* Wetrok-cordless-backpack-vacuum.jpgWith the Portavac BeFree, Wetrok is launching an ergonomically designed backpack vacuum cleaner that has been specially developed for professional cleaning in confined or hard-to-reach areas. The device is cordless, lightweight, powerful and robust - and designed for a back-friendly working posture, so better it boasts better ergonomics too.

In maintenance cleaning, one-sided movements can often lead to excessive strain on the body. The Portavac BeFree has been designed like a hiking rucksack: the low weight is evenly distributed, which noticeably relieves the back. The on/off switch is integrated into the shoulder strap, the device is suitable for right and left-handed users and the removable and washable carrying frame ensures noticeably more hygiene, comfort and mobility.

The unit is equipped with a 400W motor and offers above-average suction power. Depending on the battery variant, the running time is up to 68 minutes - sufficient for longer cleaning jobs without interruption. The charging time is around one hour, with a quick charger that can be mounted on the wall if required. The batteries are compatible with other Wetrok devices and are easy to replace.

Additional features such as an anti-static hose, a parking and carrying position for the hand tube and a three-stage HEPA13 filter system ensure high levels of user comfort and hygienic air quality.

During development, particular attention was paid to durability and resource-saving use. The unit is made of robust materials and has a rubber-reinforced base, which further increases its durability - all components can be replaced if necessary.

“The Portavac BeFree is the ideal solution when cables get in the way and ergonomics and performance are required - for example in stairwells, means of transport or wherever autonomy is required,” says Peter Karlsson, product manager machines at Wetrok AG.

Headquartered in Kloten, Switzerland, Wetrok has subsidiaries in Germany, Poland, Sweden and Austria and a global dealer network in over 40 countries. It has more than 100,000 customers worldwide. The company has been developing innovative solutions for sustainable, efficient and ergonomic cleaning for all industries, for more than 75 years. Sustainability, digitalisation and robotics play a central role in the development of new solutions that make cleaning processes smarter and more resource-efficient - with the focus always on people.
