Kingdom Group completes acquisition of Crystalcare Facilities Services

* Kingdom-Group_Terry-Barton.jpegThe Kingdom Group has successfully completed the acquisition of Crystalcare Cleaning Services, a company that specialises in environmentally-conscious commercial cleaning services in London and the South East.

Rebranded as Kingdom Cleaning London, Crystalcare will be Kingdom's specialist city-based division. The rebranding is to align with the existing brands within the Group, which provides expert cleaning services to more than 1,000 sites from a diverse range of sectors across the UK.

The operational management at Crystal will continue in their roles, and the general managers will join the Kingdom Cleaning leadership team, reporting to Lucy Lloyd, chief services officer. This will ensure continuity and smooth transition for 320-plus customers and the new 720-plus workforce joining Kingdom.

It's business as usual, but with an exciting future ahead. Kingdom Cleaning London will now offer an enhanced London based cleaning proposition, making use of the two original businesses combined expertise, operational synergies, tailored recruitment solutions and innovation. New customers and colleagues will also benefit from Kingdom's broader service capabilities across security, recruitment, systems, hygiene and training - backed by the strength of a group with over 11,500 colleagues and a turnover of £300m.

"Our M&A team work hard to find and get over the line acquisitions that match not only our CARE values but also our passion and aspirations as a group," says Kingdom's CEO Terry Barton (pictured). "I have known Toby Jerman, Crystal owner since we acquired his security business many years ago and have maintained contact all these years. We have always been impressed with Toby and his cleaning team and we now welcome them all to The Kingdom Group. Our existing cleaning business and south region is further strengthened by the addition of Crystal. Together and united, we're positioned to deliver even greater value and innovative cleaning solutions."

Toby Jerman says: "I'm delighted that Crystalcare Cleaning Services has been acquired by and is now joining forces with Kingdom Cleaning.

"We have done this to further support our sustainable, innovative and ethical cleaning services. With changing work practices, joining Kingdom will help us to further improve our sustainable approach, use of the latest technology and putting our community & teams at the forefront.

Having known Kingdom for over 10 years, we are very well socially and culturally aligned, and I'm excited about now being part of Kingdom Cleaning."
