Cleaning With Meaning recognised as Disability Confident Committed employer

Cleaning With Meaning, the eco-friendly cleaning company based in Maidstone,Kent, has been officially recognised as a Disability Confident Committed employer. This marks an essential step in the company's ongoing mission to create an inclusive, supportive and accessible workplace for all.

The Disability Confident scheme is a national initiative from the UK government that encourages employers to think differently about disability and to take positive action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people.

Achieving Level 1 Disability Confident Committed status means Cleaning With Meaning has agreed to the scheme's core commitments and has taken practical steps to support disabled people within the workplace.

As a Disability Confident Committed employer, Cleaning With Meaning has pledged to uphold the following principles:

* Inclusive and accessible recruitment, ensuring job vacancies are promoted widely and that the application process is accessible to all
• Offering an interview to any disabled person who meets the minimum criteria for the role
• Providing reasonable adjustments where needed so that disabled candidates and employees are not placed at a disadvantage
• Supporting existing employees who acquire a disability or long-term health condition so they can continue to thrive in their roles
