Knockout move: Sitemark backs rising Team GB boxing star Kelsey Oakley on her road to LA 2028

* Sitemark-boxer.jpegSitemark, the UK's popular independent benchmarking and best-practice consultancy for facilities management, has announced its support for rising Team GB boxer Kelsey Oakley, helping fund her journey as she trains and competes on the international stage.

A family member of a valued Sitemark employee, Kelsey is one of Britain's most exciting emerging boxing talents. Competing in the under-51Kg category, she is a confirmed member of the Team GB Podium Squad - an elite group of athletes training for major global competitions and future Olympic success.

In April 2025, she won gold at the prestigious Gee Bee tournament in Helsinki, before securing a bronze medal at the World Boxing Cup in Poland in May 2025. She has also represented Great Britain at several major tournaments, including the U23 European Championships in Bulgaria and the World Championships in Liverpool.

With long-term ambitions set firmly on competing at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, Kelsey is currently training full-time at Priory Park ABC, where she previously secured multiple national titles before joining Team GB. She is also aiming for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games as the next big event and part of her long-term ambitions.

"At Sitemark, we believe in supporting excellence wherever we see it not just in business, but in our communities and within the families of our team,” explains Mike Boxall, managing director of Sitemark. “Kelsey's dedication, resilience and ambition are exactly the values we champion. We're incredibly proud to play a small part in helping her pursue her Olympic dream."

The Sitemark team has already begun a series of internal fundraising activities to support Kelsey's training, travel and competition expenses, helping to ease the financial pressures that come with being an elite athlete on the global stage.

Kelsey's recent performances have strengthened her position as one of the UK's top female boxing prospects. As she continues her journey toward LA 2028, she acknowledges the importance of the support behind her, saying:

"I'm hugely grateful to everyone at Sitemark for getting behind me. Competing for Team GB is a privilege, and having extra support means I can fully focus on my training and push towards my long-term goal of the Olympics."

Sitemark's commitment to supporting Kelsey reflects the company's ongoing focus on fostering wellbeing, development and opportunity for employees, their families, and the wider community.
