Amsterdam Innovation Awards 2026: shortlist announced

* Amsterdam-Innovation-Interclean.jpgThe Interclean Amsterdam Innovation Awards shortlist highlights the industry's latest innovations that are driving meaningful change and progress across the cleaning & hygiene sector – and the companies and products which have most impressed the judges this year, have just been announced.

Selected by an independent jury of industry specialists, the nominees represent excellence across Sustainability & Environment, Smart Technology & Digitalisation, Health & Hygiene, and Workforce & Ergonomics. Each entry was assessed on innovation, ease of adoption and its ability to address real operational challenges. Below, we introduce the contenders by category, chosen from a total of 94 applications.

Sustainability & Environment…
While sustainability is now deeply embedded in the cleaning sector and all products must be developed with that in mind, the most innovative businesses continue to push boundaries and raise standards further. Shortlisted are:

Workforce & Ergonomics…
The workforce and ergonomics category acknowledges the fact that the cleaning industry is still all about people; it employs literally millions all over the world. The nominees have considered the day-to-day challenges cleaning operatives face and invested in reducing the physical demands of their work. Shortlisted are:
• Dryft (Stand 01.511) Dryft: ultra-low profile high-speed scrubber dryer
• i-team Global (Stand 01.431) i-suit 2.0: ergonomic support system for pole cleaning

From the nominees, the jury will select four category winners and one overall winner, along with the Visitors' Choice and Cleaners' Choice Awards. Have your say by casting your vote for the Visitors Choice Award and watch the winners' announcement live at the show on 14th April 2026.

Winners are announced at the opening day of Interclean Amsterdam, which is being held from 14th – 17th April 2026.

"Once again this year, we have seen how Interclean Amsterdam exhibitors from around the world serving the cleaning industry continue to invest in innovation and evolution," comments jury chair and editor of European Cleaning Journal, Michelle Marshall. “In each category, there is a good spread of companies, and our final nominees each offer something different within their category.

"It's been a pleasure to read about the exciting new products being launched during Interclean Amsterdam, and we on the jury now look forward to finding out more about each of our nominees' products - and of course to choosing our winners."
