Churchill Group wins President's Award at RoSPA's 70th anniversary awards

* Churchill-RoSPA.jpgChurchill Group has been awarded the President's Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its health & safety performance. The accolade is a recognition of 10 consecutive Gold Awards.

Churchill Group won the Award for an exemplary health & safety record during the 2025 calendar year, where it demonstrated its long-term commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of its people.

This year, 2026, marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Awards, which began as a small event to recognise the achievements of companies prioritising the safety of workers in the UK. It has now grown into the biggest and most prestigious health & safety awards programme in the world, with the 2026 Awards attracting 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries.

The application process encourages reflective practice and the importance of ongoing learning in reducing workplace accidents. In receiving a RoSPA Award, Churchill Group is part of a proud legacy of organisations dedicated to keeping workers and the public safe.

"The President's Award is a prestigious honour from RoSPA that places us among the highest performing organisations that have sustained excellent operations for a decade,” says Dave Baimbridge, group QHSE&S director at Churchill. “I am proud of all colleagues across our business, whose year-on-year hard work to sustain the safety and wellbeing of our people has been recognised again, on such a significant scale.

“Each year, we aspire to receive the top-level award available to us, and this accolade is testament to the effort everyone has put in."

Julia Small, RoSPA's growth director, says: "RoSPA congratulates Churchill Group on its RoSPA Health & Safety Award. The high standards Churchill Group achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which it should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honour… 2026 is a landmark year for the RoSPA Awards as we reflect on how far workplace safety has come in 70 years. It is because of the commitment of health & safety leaders like Churchill Group that people today are safer at work than in the past, and sets an inspiring example for the future."
