Upping the pressure: clever Steemeasy upgrade boosts demand
Following a recent upgrade boosting solution pressure to 200psi, there has been growing demand for Prochem's PR200 Steemeasy extraction cleaning machine.
"We gave this product a boost in solution pressure from a standard 150psi up to 200psi, giving much better rinsing capabilities and allowing the cleaning solution to penetrate deeper into the carpet's pile,” explains Prochem director of operations, John Hattersley.
"It keeps its reliable 3-stage 5.7in. tangential vacuum motor but crucially increases suction over the standard 2-stage vacuum motor with an extra stage fan allowing for increased air flow, greater suction and therefore quicker drying.”
In UK production for almost two years' now, the PR200 was designed to offer further machine options to an ever-demanding market and during this time has proved a very popular and reliable unit, offering portability, high pressure, good suction and great cleaning performance.
Its clean solution tank capacity of 22 litres positions it neatly in between Prochem's AX500 Galaxy's 18 litres and SX2000 Powerflo's 35 litres, where it sits between the two in terms of size.
Another advantage is the addition of an electronic float switch. This automatically cuts power to the vacuum when the waste capacity is reached, prolonging the life of the vacuum motor.
The PR200 Steemeasy is a popular choice amongst carpet cleaners across the UK and can be found in use by cleaning teams in holiday parks, hotels, care homes and even two football stadiums.
