Momentum Environmental acquires Corbett Industrial Cleaning Services
Momentum Environmental, the North American-based provider of non-discretionary waste processing, industrial cleaning, emergency response and field services, is acquiring certain assets of Corbett Industrial Cleaning Services.
The acquisition, completed in partnership with CICS founder Craig Corbett, expands Momentum's capabilities and operational presence in eastern New York and New England, supporting the company's broader growth strategy in contiguous geographies.

This transaction marks Momentum's fourth acquisition since 2024, advancing the company's goal of building a robust and scalable regional environmental services platform. The investment increases Momentum's territorial reach and adds operational capacity to better serve industrial and commercial clients in New York. With this acquisition, Momentum now operates three New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)-permitted waste processing facilities and seven service locations in Bath, Lancaster, Rochester, Syracuse, Oswego, Tonawanda, and Albany, New York.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered near Albany, CICS is a leading environmental services provider specialising in industrial cleaning and waste management. The company serves both public and private sector clients, including manufacturers, environmental service providers, engineering firms, municipalities and general contractors involved in transportation, energy and infrastructure development. Known for its technical expertise and provision of technology-enabled cleaning methods, CICS has earned a reputation as a trusted partner for mission-critical industrial challenges in eastern New York.
As part of the acquisition, Craig Corbett will serve as director of operations for Momentum's eastern region. As a shareholder in Momentum, he will continue to lead operations across the capital region and New England while helping to expand the company's environmental services platform. He says:

Momentum's growth strategy includes additional acquisitions and the development of permitted waste processing assets to build a best-in-class environmental services company.
It is searching for other complementary businesses to acquire in the environmental services space.
