Robert Scott & Sons acquires Contico Manufacturing

Robert Scott & Sons has announced that with effect from 1st March 2012, it acquired the total share capital of Contico Manufacturing from owner, Proventec.

Contico has been a major and popular player in the professional janitorial sector for the past 37 years and the acquisition by Robert Scott & Sons will both enhance and secure the company's future in the supply and manufacturing of its range of added value, manual cleaning products.

"Both Robert Scott and Contico have longstanding reputations for quality and service standards that we feel can only be enhanced by this acquisition," says Alastair Scott, who confirms that Contico will continue to operate from its premises in Redruth, Cornwall, under the current management team.
