OCS brews up contract with Typhoo

OCS has strengthened its contract with one of Britain's best loved tea brands, Typhoo, to provide office and factory cleaning at its site in Moreton on the Wirral peninsula.

A strong relationship with the client developed after a workwear contract was secured in 2006 - and, since 2008, OCS has provided high level cleaning to the factory. The client was so impressed with the standard of work that it extended OCS's services to include cleaning for other parts of the business, bringing an improved quality of service and cost efficiency.

OCS cleaning operatives are trained to the highest standards and have provided innovation to the contract in both equipment and machinery. Working with SCA (Support Cleaning Apparatus), staff can now use a specially developed gutter pole attachment to assist with cleaning high level equipment.

OCS staff at the site have been recognised by the client through a number of company awards and recommendations for promotion. Typhoo Factory Manager Steve Barratt comments: "I would like to say congratulations to the OCS operatives in recognition of the outstanding job they have done, and continue to do, for us at Typhoo Tea."
