Asckey Data Services acquires Eclipse-fm software from HFC

As part of the ongoing restructure of the company, Healthcare Facilities Consortium has announced that ownership of their Facilities Management system, Eclipse-fm, has passed to Asckey Data Services ADS which has purchased the software.

ADS is a long-standing partner of HFC and has been involved in the development, support and marketing of Eclipse-fm since its inception as a replacement for the legacy character mode Works Information Management System (WIMS).

"We understand ADS has big plans for the software including a range of new fully integrated modules and a new name, FMFirst-Estates & Facilities," says Paul Lloyd, Acting Managing Director, HFC.

"We are confident that ADS's combination of a reliable helpdesk service, the latest in software development resources and the company's ability to provide secure remote support through NHSnet (N3) will offer users of the system even more flexibility, reliability and innovative features for the future.

"All support requests and enquiries regarding the Eclipse-fm software should now be directed to ADS as the new owner of the software. Support calls can be placed by contacting:
