National head office puts Trust in Principle Cleaning

Following its recent move to a new London office, The National Trust has appointed Principle Cleaning Services as its cleaning contractor.

Completely independent of Government, The National Trust is a charity that relies for income on membership fees, donations and legacies together with revenue raised from its commercial operations. It has more than four million members and 61,000 volunteers and protects and open to the public over 350 historic houses, gardens and ancient monuments.

Staff at London based Principle Cleaning will be looking after the new head office building based in Victoria, London, which houses upwards of 40 staff. It is an important and prestigious office as the National Trust's Director-General, Chairman and Senior Management Team are also all based there. Cleaning, window cleaning and pest control form part of the ongoing services within the contract.

Karen Bird, Central Office Facilities Manager at National Trust says: "With its first class reputation, I have every confidence the Principle Cleaning team will manage the service very well and ensure that the building is always presented at its best. We look forward to a good start and for the whole site settling in to our new premises."
