Synergy Health shows support for MRSA Action UK

* Assure.jpgSynergy Health has become a corporate sponsor for MRSA Action UK, a leading charity dedicated to raising public awareness and influencing Government and healthcare providers in the fight to prevent MRSA and other healthcare associated infections.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Synergy Health's Infection Prevention & Control division will also be making a donation to the charity of five pence for each UK purchase of its 50ml or 600ml alcohol free Assure hand sanitizer.

"We welcome Synergy Health as a corporate sponsor, which will help improve our support to those who have been affected by healthcare associated infections and to reinforce our campaign for safer standards in medical facilities," says Derek Butler, Chairman of MRSA UK.

"We know that the Synergy team share our vision and aspirations to improve outcomes for patients both now and in the future and we look forward to collaborating with them to achieve our common goals."

Dr. Jimmy Kwok, Managing Director, Synergy Health Infection Prevention & Control division, adds:

"We are proud to become an official sponsor for MRSA Action UK, which is part of our wider CSR programme to develop closer community relationships through charitable partnerships. We look forward to working with the charity to provide valuable support to MRSA sufferers and carers, and championing the prevention of healthcare associated infections."

Synergy Health provides a complete range of infection prevention and control products to reduce the risk of MRSA and other healthcare associated infections, enabling hospitals to comply with the Department of Health guidelines on infection control.
