UKCPI Council welcomes new leaders
The UK Cleaning Products Industry Association has announced three new appointments to the leadership of its Council. Brandon Pilling of ACDOCO has been named Chairman and he will be supported by two Vice-Chairs - Petra Hangweier of Unilever and Steve Elder of Ecolab.
The Council provides the overall leadership of the association and comprises industry leaders from across the UK.
The appointments reflect the breadth of membership and represent SMEs, multinationals and industrial & institutional companies respectively.
The appointments were confirmed at the recent UKCPI AGM of which took place in the House of Commons in London recently.
"These appointments reflect the broad base of our members' interests - from consumer to professional products and from SMEs through to multinational companies," says Philip Malpass, director general of the UKCPI.
UKCPI represents UK producers of cleaning and hygiene products - from soaps, washing powders and liquids, household disinfectants, aircare and polishes, to the professional cleaning and hygiene products used in industrial & institutional applications.
UKCPI provides expert and balanced information about cleaning and hygiene in the workplace and the home. It works in partnership with policymakers, the public and the media, to inform public discussions about cleanliness, hygiene and sustainable cleaning.
