Hoover Commercial manufacturer in North America to invest in innovation

The maker of America's vacuuming brands Hoover Commercial, Hoover, Dirt Devil and Royal announced last week plans to significantly increase the investment in engineering, innovation and design in the US. TTi Floor Care, based in Ohio, plans to hire more than 200 new electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, technicians and industrial designers nationwide over the next three years.

"Hoover has always been about innovation," said Paul Bagwell, the company's vice president global product development. "We are committed to creating proprietary technologies across our brands that provide superior tools to meet ever-evolving cleaning needs."

The manufacturer's portfolio includes more than 700 active patents worldwide. Dan Gregory, its president, said we can expect to see even more pioneering products that offer both improved performance and a better cleaning experience.

"It's a very exciting time at TTi Floor Care North America, and we are significantly investing in the continued success of the Hoover and Dirt Devil brands," he revealed. "We believe that innovation is key to our future success and we are recruiting the best talent in the industry to deliver the best products with exceptional cleaning performance."
