CMS 2013 Berlin: allocation of hall space has already begun

* CMS.jpgCMS tells us that Messe Berlin's preparations for the international trade fair for Cleaning Systems, Building Management & Services are well advanced, more so than in any previous year. With many bookings already taken from all the leading market players the task of allocating individual stands and special display areas in the halls has already begun.

Inside Halls 1.2 to 4.2 of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, companies will be exhibiting their products and services in a display area covering 24,000 square metres. Once again, the Home Economics Association will be representing the hotel, restaurant and catering trade with an information stand at CMS, while femak, the professional organisation representing buyers, materials management and hospital logistics, will also be in attendance. This year, CMS is cooperating even more closely with the German Hotel & Restaurant Association (DEHOGA), while for the first time, CMS will be working with the German Association of Healthcare Procurement Organisations (BVBG).

CMS 2013 - Cleaning.Management.Services, Europe's leading event for the industry, will be taking place from 24 to 27 September.

A special show entitled 'Green area maintenance' will feature relevant machines and equipment in Hall 2.2. This is also where, in a special display area, visitors can come to see the finalists competing for the Purus Awards. The fair's restaurant in Hall 4.2 will be providing catering for visitors to the event. Special shows located in and around the south entrance entitled 'Glass and facade cleaning' and 'Aerial work platforms' will be welcoming trade visitors from Germany and abroad.

The Marshall House, a listed building on the grounds of the Summer Garden, will be the setting for the opening ceremonies of CMS 2013, the presentation of the Purus Awards, and the 1st International CMS Conference. The south entrance on the exhibition is also where a reception will be taking place at the halfway stage of CMS.

Some 354 exhibitors from 20 countries attended CMS 2011 - breaking the previous record - while around 15,500 trade visitors from 60 countries visited the event to find out about the products and services that occupied the halls and outdoor display area covering 24,700 square metres.
