New contract win builds on JTM's social housing portfolio
Commercial laundry specialist JTM Service continues to make a splash across the social housing sector with a new contract to provide communal laundry facilities for Isos Housing.
The four year agreement with one of the North East's housing associations consolidates JTM Service's position as a leading laundry specialist for the social housing sector.
Founded in Leeds in 1983 by MD John Middleton, JTM Service provides laundry facilities and services for more than 100 social housing providers from the Scottish Borders to the Midlands.
Isos Housing is one of the fastest growing housing groups in the North East with over 12,000 homes across the region. Isos believes housing should be accessible and affordable for all and develops new properties each year to provide more homes for those in need.
JTM Service was appointed through a six way competitive tender to service, repair and replace - where necessary - communal laundry room equipment across all the Isos sheltered schemes. The company will make access and use of the laundry rooms easier for residents - for example, positioning washing machines and tumble dryers at heights to suit elderly residents.
"Providing laundry rooms that are safe, efficient and easy to use is a priority for us," states Procurement Manager for Isos Daniel Gibson. "JTM Service's experience in this sector, coupled with its strong credentials and reputation for excellent customer care, were key to winning the contract. Our tenants, who like to see the same face whenever the machines need servicing, will now benefit from a consistent, personal service."

As well as designing the new laundry rooms, advising on procuring the best equipment and servicing all machines, JTM Service provides a 24 hour helpdesk to Isos Housing and its tenants.
