UK manufacturer's compact steam cleaner packs powerful punch
With growing numbers of facilities of all types - and particularly healthcare facilities and infection prevention and control teams - acknowledging the cleaning and infection-fighting power of steam cleaning, Matrix Cleaning Systems has introduced a new machine to answer their needs. Called Omega, the small and easily manoeuvrable 4.5 bar pressure steam cleaning machine seems to be impressing everyone that trials it.
"While the new Omega is probably the smallest steam and vacuum machine in the market, it packs a punch and has great cleaning power," says Mike Osiadacz, sales director at Matrix Cleaning Systems - the UK's only manufacturer of steam cleaning machines.

The continuous fill boiler system allows refilling at any time during operation and the unit comes complete with an integral vacuum system. The full range of accessories enables the operator to maximise cleaning performance in just every situation.

"We are extremely confident and proud of our machines. Each unit undergoes a very stringent testing procedure and quality check before despatch. The compact Omega joins Matrix's popular duo of steam cleaning machines, the MD8000 and MD4500 that have been developed for the healthcare market (but which could provide the perfect cleaning solution in many other environments).
"These healthcare machines are the result of in-depth consultations with the NHS - designed to not only meet, but exceed the requirements of deep clean sanitising," says Mike. "They are compact, easily transportable, highly manoeuvrable and so durable that they can be used consistently.

Matrix steam cleaners have been proven to remove Salmonella, Listeria, Monocytogenes, Staph Aureus, MRSA, Saccharomyces, Carevisae, Bacillus Cereus, TVC 37, TVC 22 and Clostridium Difficile by greater than 99.9%. The results of the tests are available in a microbiologist's report.
