Incentive FM adds Northampton's venue to shopping centre contract portfolio
Independent facilities management company Incentive FM has signed a three-year deal to provide a fully integrated TFM solution at the Legal & General owned Grosvenor Centre in Northampton.
Under the terms of the contract, Incentive FM will deliver a full range of services required for the retail environment, including cleaning, security, maintenance and other support services. IFM will have full responsibility for providing 24-hour security for the Centre, full maintenance, with all cleaning at the centre being undertaken using 'ec-H2O' Electronically Converted Water Technology, which is both safe and sustainable.
As part of the deal, 26 existing employees will transfer under TUPE to Incentive FM, who will also strengthen the team with the appointment of a facilities administrator, an M&E apprentice, and a security apprentice, who will all report weekly to a Regional Manager.
Incentive FM will also introduce the use of Concept Evolution, a fully web enabled Computer-Aided Facility Management tool. This includes a helpdesk that has flexible and automated communication processes, which saves time and includes information on Service Level Agreements and other performance measurements. This provides the helpdesk user with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively. Tasks can be updated showing their individual status with colour coding to help the user to ensure deadlines are met.
Russell Hall, Centre Manager of the Grosvenor Centre, says: "We have an average weekly footfall of around 220,000 people, with over 11.5 million visitors to the Centre last year alone. To ensure that our visitors keep coming back, it is vital that each one has an excellent customer experience, so our choice of FM partner is of paramount importance to our ongoing success and aspirations.
"Incentive FM has the expertise and drive to deliver long term sustainability through the way in which the company embraces and creates new innovative solutions in areas such as carbon management, modern technology and people development, which ultimately delivers the quality of service we demand and which our customers deserve."
Martin Reed, Managing Director at Incentive FM, says: "Our solutions for shopping centres deliver benefits through a more efficient use of staff, innovative technology and the streamlining of invoicing and accountancy procedures. This is designed to add up to a lower total acquisition cost for the Shopping Centre and accordingly, its retailers."
In addition to The Grosvenor Centre, Incentive FM has an extensive retail portfolio including St Stephen's Shopping Centre in Hull, Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre and Retail Park in Sheffield, The Exchange Shopping Centre in Ilford, Crompton Place Shopping Centre in Bolton, Eastgate Retail Park in Bristol, Blackwood and Cwmbran Retail Parks in South Wales and the Idlewells Shopping Centre in Sutton In Ashfield.
