Norse grows education sector cleaning services

Norse Commercial Services and its subsidiaries are seeing continued growth in the education sector across the UK.The Norfolk based company, which has joint venture partnerships with 11 local authorities around the UK, has recently won a £2.5 million, three year agreement with Norfolk Educational Services group to provide cleaning services at City College Norwich and a number of Academies in the county.

The contract covers a wide range of daily cleaning services including windows, offices, toilets, classrooms, lecture theatres, corridors, open spaces, sports facilities, kitchens and areas such as the beauty salons where they train the students, plus periodic deep cleaning including some high level work.

Elsewhere the firm's subsidiaries in Devon and Barnsley have also been winning new education business jointly worth a further £1 million.

"It is longer term agreements such as these which not only provide job security for our staff, but also enable us to implement measures that will continue to deliver cost effective and first class services to our clients."
