Janitorial Direct joins the Matrix network

Matrix - established nearly a decade ago and now recognised as the UK's leading steam cleaning machine manufacturer with an extensive portfolio of high quality light commercial to industrial 4 bar and 8 bar cleaning systems in its portfolio, has welcomed Janitorial Direct to its network of distributors.

Janitorial Direct is ideally situated only 20 minutes from the M5 / M6 corridor and is central to many large markets including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford, Worcester, Redditch, Bromsgrove, and Coventry. Its large store has ample car parking for those customers who wish to collect.

The company started originally as a carpet cleaning services provider for domestic customers, which led to work in more commercial environments such as offices, hotels, nursing homes and banks. The business developed further, from purely carpet cleaning to other types of cleaning. Rapid expansion followed and a small cleaning supplies division was created to underpin and support the cleaning contracts.

"The right product at the right time at the right price" was and still is the company's philosophy - which is perhaps why it turns over some £1.5 million per annum, supplying a range of customers from domestic users to local authorities. The customer type is very varied and continues to grow and the list includes the National Trust, Virgin Atlantic, Rolls Royce, BT, Ikea and Oxford University.
