Machinery - subjected to practical tests

Visitors showed keen interest in the display areas exhibiting glass/facade cleaning and aerial work platforms on the outdoor display site at the entrance to the halls. The special show demonstrating the maintenance of green areas and the machinery and equipment with which to do the work, was also well frequented.

The event's sponsors - the Federal Cleaning Trades Association (BIV), the VDMA Cleaning Systems Trade Association and the Industrial Association for Hygiene & Surface Protection (IHO) - and the exhibitors, all seemed to be delighted with the show's outcome, as the comments below show:

"We are more than satisfied with the way CMS went," says Dieter Kuhnert, Chairman of the Board of the BIV. "It even exceeded our expectations. Visitor attendance grew significantly. We succeeded in our aim to attract even greater numbers from abroad. The exhibitors were also highly satisfied and our association was able to successfully launch its corporate design. As we travel home we are more than satisfied and look forward to CMS 2015."

Markus Asch, Chairman of the VDMA, says: "The many positive reactions received from numerous trade visitors and exhibitors were confirmation that CMS is an outstanding platform for exchanging ideas and experiences. The first edition of the CMS Congress was instrumental in engineering a successful industry event."

Frank Vancraeyveld, Division Chairman and member of the Board of the IHO, says: "The companies belonging to the IHO are extremely satisfied with the way the fair went. Innumerable visitors on the stands, keen interest in our innovations, quality products and being able to establish many new business contacts: these are all things that characterise a successful show. There was a noticeable increase in business partners from abroad, to which the International CMS Congress contributed in no small measure."

The next CMS will take place at Messe Berlin from 22nd to 25th September 2015.
