Sinead takes a leap of faith for charity

* Sinead-Cleary.jpgCleaning specialist manager Sinead Cleary is preparing to take a dive for charity - from about 15,000 feet in the air.

Sinead, project manager for Ryans, is getting ready to sky-dive for the Suir Haven Cancer Support Centre in Thurles, north Tipperary.

"I'll be sky-diving in tandem with one of the experts so I'm sure I'll be fine - the important thing is that it's for our chosen charity at Suir Haven and it's certainly a very worthwhile cause," says Sinead.

The charity has signed contracts with the North Tipperary Hospice along with architects and builders to begin work on transforming the house from a domestic home to a dedicated home from home for people who are dealing with cancer. It is hoped that it will be completed by April 2014.

The centre will relocate to a house across the road during the refurbishment with services continuing as normal. It is estimated that the cost of refurbishing the house will be approximately 125,000 Euros.

Ryans Cleaning employs more than 70 people full-time and 1,000-plus part-time and seasonal staff serving the requirements of fixed venues, international events, tradeshows and exhibitions as well as commercial, office and industrial cleaning premises in the UK and Ireland.
