New adjustable 3M Scotch-Brite Fryer and Kitchen Cleaning Tool tackles toughest tasks
Removing baked-on dirt and hard-to-reach grease from commercial grills, ovens and fryers is one of the toughest jobs in the kitchen - which is why the new 3M Scotch-Brite Fryer and Kitchen Cleaning Tool is cleverly designed to give more power to the cleaner's elbow.
Claimed to be first kitchen cleaning tool to adjust to the task at hand, this highly versatile device can be used in three different positions and with multiple pad options, to clean a variety of ovens, fryers and other kitchen surfaces more quickly, safely and easily.
With the handle fully extended, the tool is ideal for deep fryers and hoods, keeping hands far away from potential hot spots while reaching into the farthest corners.
When the handle and pad are set at right angles it's perfect for ovens, giving a better angle and leverage for power cleaning, without the usual awkward bending and twisting to get the job done.
The third 'acute' position is designed for all types of grills and flattops, allowing real pressure to be put on the oil and carbon build-up while keeping hands away from the heat.
For complete versatility of use, the lightweight and durable tool comes with multiple HACCP International approved pad options for low scratch, medium duty and heavy duty applications.
The Low Scratch Blue Cleaning Pad 903 features a thin web design which is ideal for cleaning tub-style fryers. The Medium Duty Green Cleaning Pad 902 incorporates a polishing abrasive and is suited to cleaning tube-style fryers. The Heavy Duty Gray Cleaning Pad 901 features an aggressive abrasive and a thick open web, making it ideal for cleaning open vat-style fryers. All pads are resistant up to 350°F and can be quickly locked into place and removed for ease of use.
The Scotch-Brite Fryer and Surface Cleaning Tool is the latest edition to 3M's growing range of commercial kitchen cleaning tools, which are designed to increase productivity and reduce labour costs, whilst improving user safety.
The range also includes the 3M(tm) Scotch-Brite Quick Clean Griddle Cleaning System which cleans flat griddles in half the time of traditional griddle cleaning products by incorporating a powerful but non-toxic liquid cleaner that lifts and loosens carbonised food from the hot griddle surface.
