Amazon Filters achieves WRAS approval
Amazon Filters, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of industrial water filtration products, has been awarded approval status for its stainless steel housings by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme. This follows on from approval for its SupaGard and SupaSpun II cartridges.
Amazon Filters is one of a few companies capable of providing both cartridges and filter housings that are WRAS compliant and are also unrivalled in offering a system with a 20 bar working pressure.
The Water Fittings Regulations (or Byelaws in Scotland) are national requirements for the design, installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, water fittings and water-using appliances. These regulations prevent misuse, waste, undue consumption or erroneous measurement of water or the contamination of drinking water.
Guidance on the standards and information on materials and fittings meeting these standards can be found on the WRAS website.
"We are extremely proud to have been awarded WRAS approval as it provides true recognition for the quality of Amazon Filter products and demonstrates our commitment to providing unrivalled, superior products to the industry," says Neil Pizzey, Managing Director, Amazon Filters.
Amazon Filters is a leading supplier of filtration systems for water treatment applications and has what it says is unrivalled expertise in providing Side Stream systems for Closed Loop water circuits found within buildings. Its SupaGard and SupaSpun II ranges of depth cartridges and now its 51 Series, 52 Series, 55 Series and all of its 60 Series range of filter housings have been confirmed as of a suitable standard and both product ranges are listed on the WRAS directory of approved products and can be found at:
www.wras.co.uk and www.wras.co.uk
Products are manufactured in clean room conditions and come with detailed Product Validation Guides and Technical Support documentation.
These filters and housings are the preferred choice for those designing, installing and operating water systems and are used in a wide variety of water treatment applications.
