Refreshing new type of cleaning industry trade show takes place later this month
We don't have all the details yet, but we've been talking to the organiser of a new type of tradeshow, taking place on Saturday, 17th May 2014, in Bridport, Dorset.
Mark Munro tells us that the WCP Tradeshow / Van Festival, is attracting exhibitors that we'd normally expect to see at some of the larger exhibitions - companies such as Window Cleaners' Warehouse, Unger, Sebo, FaceLift, Aquadapter, HydraMaster, Alltec Network and many more. And the Van Festival is not what you might expect either... many industry operators have to kit their vans out with products and equipment and the idea is that those attending the show throw the doors of their work vans open to other visitors, to share ideas and experiences on what works well and what doesn't. Now that's what we call networking!
The format is not something we're used to... as the event is taking place at the Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, those who attend are being encouraged to take their families along and make a weekend of it.
There will be competitions and product demonstrations and food and drink will be available.
The show will take place from 10.00 - 17.00. Tickets cost £2.00 (children go free) and the money collected is being donated to a local charity.
