Tony Taylor, Facilities Manager at Barnsley Metropolitan Bough Council says: "Barnsley Norse was awarded the contract to provide Soft , says: "This is a major contract win for our company and is particularly rewarding as we were placed top in both key criteria, against stiff national competition. We have made a major investment in new equipment to help deliver the best service possible and ensure the smooth run of the contract."

45 cleaning and caretaking staff will transfer to Barnsley Norse under Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE)
This award is the latest in a series of major contract wins for Norse, who have seen record growth in the last year, and now boast a £2 billion forward order book.
