New networking opportunity exclusively focuses on cleaning industry professionals
The Hill Club is a new cleaning & soft-service-related professional networking community (Ed: My thanks to industry stalwarts Sally Ayres and Gary Fage for tipping me off about this story, when we bumped into one another at the Cleaning Show, and to Facilicom's Phil Smith who expertly filled me in on the details. Now that's what networking's all about!).
Created by a group of leading industry professionals - drawn from a broad cross-section of organisations and disciplines - the club aims to provide a comfortable environment for business people in our industry (or associated with it) to connect and build mutually beneficial commercial relationships.
Intended as a quarterly event, the inaugural gathering will be held on Thursday 30th April at the Rotunda Bar & Grill in King's Cross (www.rotundabarandrestaurant.co.uk) and is already attracting great support and growing interest.
The club's name is a mark of respect to the founder of the British Institute of Cleaning Science, the late Eric Hill, and each event will be held in an informal setting and will last approximately three hours and be dedicated entirely to efficient and effective business networking. The Hill Club will feature cleaning contractors, specialist insurers, industry PR specialists, FM recruiters, janitorial suppliers, washroom service providers and industrial cleaning specialists as well as an array of FM organisations and service procurers.
All events are free and complimentary snacks will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. With tickets for this first event being taken up rapidly The Hill Club is already promising to become a regular fixture in the cleaning calendar.
