Tork is headline sponsor of 2015 Loo of the Year Awards

* LOTY-2015-HS-logo.jpgTork manufacturer SCA is raising its profile nationwide by signing a deal to become headline sponsor of this year's Loo of the Year awards.

Tork, Europe's leading professional hygiene paper brand, has been an associate sponsor of the Awards for the past eight years.

"We at Tork have always fully supported the Loo of the Year Awards' commitment to improving standards in away-from-home washrooms around the country," says SCA senior product manager Charlotte Boniface.

"Our company has grown substantially over recent years and now that we are market leader in the UK and Ireland we are stepping up our support to the Loo of the Year Awards."

Loo of the Year Awards managing director Mike Bone describes the partnership as "great news" for the association.

According to Mike, the numbers of entrants has gradually increased over the years - and the 2015 Loo of the Year Awards is on course to be a record-breaking event. "So far we are 30% up on the number of entrants we normally receive at this point," he said.

The objective of the awards is to encourage the highest possible standards in all types of away from home and public toilets. "We have tracked improvements over the years and standards are going up throughout the UK as a result of the awards," he says.

SCA's Charlotte Boniface adds: "We at Tork are passionate about improving washroom standards nationwide which makes our tie-up with the Awards a perfect partnership. We look forward with working closely with the Awards team during 2015 and maintaining a high profile at the event."

Entries and nominations for the 60 award categories can be made via the website at www.loo.co.uk until 31st July. Entries are accepted from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
The 2015 Loo of the Year Awards ceremony will take place on Friday, 4th December at St Johns Hotel in Solihull.
