There aren't many hours left to visit the virtual Manchester Cleaning Show (https://cleaningshow.co.uk/manchester) today, so if you haven't yet logged in, do try soon! Based on innovative technology which allows visitors to interact with each other by sending messages and business cards, we can 'browse' exhibitors' virtual booths, discover company profiles and videos and even pose questions that will be answered virtually. There is also an informative pre-recorded programme of presentations from some of the industry's leading figures, which will be made available after the event, for those who've not been able to log in and take part in real time.

These presentations feature a wide range of topics that are highly relevant to anyone working in the sector; some focus on the industry's hugely important role during the pandemic and how it can assist in the reopening of the economy. The Show is free to attend, with no apps to download and you can view everything on a device of your choice. Hope to see you there!

Next Wednesday, 21st October, marks the sixth annual Thank Your Cleaner Day - and, in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, this special day which highlights the important work our world's cleaners carry out, is more important than ever before. Acknowledged as the 'keyworkers' they are, cleaners were fighting the virus on the front line while the rest of us were locked down and never more than now do they deserve our thanks and appreciations.

In case you're not familiar with it, thank Your Cleaner Day (www.thankyourcleanerday.com) originated in New Zealand when the local trade organisation for Building Services Contractors worked with Kärcher to recognise the unsung heroes of the cleaning industry. Over 30 countries now take part across the world, from Australia to the Dominican Republic, from the US to Singapore. Kärcher continues to champion the cause and encourage as many businesses to take part as possible. Do please help to spread the word.
